  17.                                About Turbo-Story 
  18.                                ----------------- 
  19. I  have created Turbo-Story to run alongside Tav-Story just as Deep Space  Nine 
  20. and  Star Trek The Next Generation run alongside each other.  You may be a  bit 
  21. confused at first by the terms used if you have not been reading Tav-Story, but 
  22. I am sure you will catch on fast and I will release a jargon file soon.

  27. [In a restaurant] 
  28.  
  29. Paul had decided to take the Tavern crew to lunch in one of the Turbo  stations 
  30. restaurants.
  31.  
  32. "Oh Paul you mustn't be mad at Kevin he is your friend," says the Light Of  The 
  33. Galaxy.
  34.  
  35. "Well it wasn't my fault it was his," says Paul.
  36.  
  37. "Hey Jodi whats in the package?" asks Gareth.
  38.  
  39. "My new axe," says Jodi with that greusome look on her face.
  40.  
  41. "Oh sorry I asked," says Gareth.
  42.  
  43. "Okay  one,  two three!" says Liam as Rory,  Spencer and Mike enter a  drinking 
  44. competition.
  45.  
  46. Paul  put  his hand against his head already knowing what would happen  and  he 
  47. wasn't wrong as arm around each others sholders Liam,  Rory,  Mike, Spencer and 
  48. Gareth walked down the passage way ahead of Paul and and the rest of the Tavern 
  49. crew all drunk singing songs as they made their way back to the ship.

  51. "Ever thought the problem may be down to them always being out at space and not 
  52. much femail company?" asks the Light Of The Galaxy.
  53.  
  54. "Mmm  I  don't know I thought they would have been more mature  by  now,"  says 
  55. Paul.
  56.  
  57. Paul  entered  the bridge of the Tavern in time to see on the large  screen  an 
  58. important call coming in and answered it.
  59.  
  60. "Paul  we need assitance now we are under attack!" says Kevin appearing on  the 
  61. screen.
  62.  
  63. "Where abouts are you?" asks Paul.
  64.  
  65. "In the Primas system we are heavily out numbered," says Kevin.
  66.  
  67. "Okay hang in there Kev we're on our way," says Paul.
  68.  
  69. "And  bring  the  Light Of The Galaxy with you!" shouts out  Steve  before  the 
  70. transmission ends.
  71.  
  72. "Computer  wake all crew and initiate emergency docking off  procedures!"  says 
  73. Paul.
  74.  
  75. An  alarm  sounds  all  over  the Tavern and the  drunk  crew  are  with  great 
  76. difficulty  awaken as Jodi,  Lisa 8 and the Light Of The Galaxy go  about  with 
  77. anti-p*ssed pills and water giving it to all the crew..
  78.  
  79. "Oh what a headache," says Rory as they arrive on the bridge.
  80.  
  81. "The Fortress is under attack lets get a move on," says Paul..
  82.  
  83. The  arrive  in the Primas system to see the Fortress surrounded  by  loads  of 
  84. other ships attacking her.
  85.  
  86. "Okay  lets get some fire off hers guy attack those two ships with full  phazer 
  87. bank power," says Harry.
  88.  
  89. "Mr Morris how bad is she damaged?" asks Paul.
  90.  
  91. "Her shields are failing sir," says Gareth.
  92.  
  93. "They  are coming towards us now," says Spenecer as the Tavern begins  to  rock 
  94. and red alert alarms sound.
  95.  
  96. "Man the gun turrets!" says Paul.
  97.  
  98. "Sir  they  are sending a message through they want the Light of  the  Galaxy," 
  99. says Liam.
  100.  
  101. "So  thats  what the attack was for," says Paul sitting down  in  his  captains 
  102. chair "Evasive manouvers Mr Collins" 
  103.  
  104. "We are taking hits bad they are still out guning us," says Harry as the  ships 
  105. a  bit  smaller that the Tavern still outnumbered the Tavern and  the  Fortress 
  106. together.
  107.  
  108. "Put us between the Fortress and the main fire power," says Paul.
  109.  
  110. "The Fortress has no warp energy left," says Gareth.
  111.  
  112. "Place a tractor beam on her we're taking her with us," says Paul.
  113.  
  114. A  tractor beam grabbed hold of the Fortress and she was pulled along with  the 
  115. Tavern. The two ships very much alike trying to retreat.
  116.  
  117. "Our shields are now failing," says Harry.
  118.  
  119. "Another three ship's have arrived!" says Rory.
  120.  
  121. "Oh nuts we've had it!" says Paul.
  122.  
  123. "Its the All at Sea, Dog House and Athena" says Rory.
  124.  
  125. A loud shout of joy came out on the bridge of both the Tavern and Fortress.  As 
  126. the other ships arrived and helped outnumber the attacking ships in fire power.
  127.  
  128. After  the  battle and repairs were going on helped by the other ships  on  the 
  129. Tavern  and  Fortress Steve tried his luck with the Light of the  Galaxy  at  a 
  130. party held on the All at Sea.
  131.  
  132. "I don't get it she just turned me down," says Steve.
  133.  
  134. "Bummer hey," says Liam.
  135.  
  136. "Ye never ever happend before," says Steve "I think I'm in love".
  137.  
  138. "Steve you can't be getting soft now!" says Liam.
  139.  
  140. "Hallo who's that?" asks Steve seeing Jodi.
  141.  
  142. "Oh thats the mad axe murderer," says Spencer.
  143.  
  144. "Whats this thing about Rory and Lisa 8?" asks Steve.
  145.  
  146. "Oh  Lisa  8 is a highly operational android Paul picked up because  we  didn't 
  147. have a docter," says Harry.
  148.  
  149. "Highly operational as in everything works?" says Steve.
  150.  
  151. "Yup everything," says Harry.
  152.  
  153. "Wow and she does like lots of things?" says Steve 
  154.  
  155. "Anything really," says Harry.
  156.  
  157. "I got to get me one of those," says Steve "So no nagging?" 
  158.  
  159. "Oh like a wife? Oh no!" says Harry.
  160.  
  161. "Excellent!" says Steve.
  162.  
  163. On  the  other  side of the room everyone let out loud booh's  as  Dave  Hollis 
  164. turned an ST into a PC.
  165.  
  166. Later that evening they all entered a drinking contest with te mysterious  Jodi 
  167. Crisp.  Steve  and  Jodi the only ones surviving while the others  lay  on  the 
  168. floor.
  169.  
  170. Richard  Clarke and Gordon Story were furiously at it in the bobbing  for  hard 
  171. drives competition.
